Eventually - all the milk gone - the older orphans make their way back up the path. They spend all their time together and with their keepers. As they reach 3+ years, they will be transferred to the Tsavo Park unit where they will continue to be cared for . As they age they will spend more and more time away from their stockades until they finally join up with wild eles. But they sometimes come back for visits and even bring their wild-born young with them.
