Time is running out to get your rebate from the makers of Airborne, the popular cold prevention product.  You remember, the one invented by a teacher.  Seems they have met the ubiquitous class-action lawsuit to the tune of $23 million dollars.  You must file your claim by September 15, 2008.

If you purchased any of the Airborne products; Airborne Effervescent Health Formula (all flavors), Airborne On-the-Go, Airborne Power Pixies, Airborne Nighttime, Airborne Jr., ("Airborne Products"), you are eligible for a refund.

You must have purchased the product in the United States, or any of its territories, between May 1, 2001 and November 29, 2007.  If you don't have receipts you are still eligible for a refund for up to six of the products.  You need to identify the item purchased, the price and where and when you purchased the items.

You can fill out the online form and get all the directions from the Airborne site.  Basically the lawsuit found that there was no credible evidence that by taking the product your cold would be any less severe or last less time than without the product. 

I must be susceptible to the placebo effect because I thought it worked for me.
