MrBabyMan Exposed

PLEASE Ban MrBabyMan

MrBabyMan Reads So Fast!

Wah Wah Wah*

(*Not actual headline, but describes participants)

The top member of the social news site, digg.com, is under fire for his suspicious account activities. Mrbabyman, Disney Animator Andrew Sorcini, has been using Digg for the past three years, submitting thousands of sites and digging tens of thousands more. As a result, though, more and more people have been watching his activity, and a few noticed some 'discrepancies.'

9 submissions dugg in less than a minute? Something smells fishy...

After reviewing his profile further I noticed that he dugg about 115 articles in a half hour. Why is this guy allowed to play the system in such a way?

That's because he is what is called a Digg whore.

Digg needs a MrBabyMan section...

oh wait, we already do, its called "All"

In desperation, Mrbabyman posted to his twitter:

A lot of chatter about me recently. I'd be happy to address questions, concerns in a live forum if enough people are TRULY interested. RSVP. about 20 hours ago from Ping.fm

Diggers: I'm here now:http://ping.fm/NHT9z Please register to chat. If you want to talk to me, I truly want to talk

about 16 hours ago from Ping.fm

Personally, I'm not that involved in digg, so Mrbabyman's actions don't really affect me that much. The unfortunate part of this whole thing, though, is the group think and mob mentality that's going on right now. The guy hasn't really had a chance to defend himself during this whole event and that isn't right.

Not a fan? Is it because of the sensationalism of the site, or some other reason?
