Transformers Dancing to Thriller: Faithful Robot Remake Video

Animated Transformers Do Thriller Dance

Somewhere there's an animator with lots of free time, which was put to great use by remaking the "Thriller" video with Transformers.

The Transformers "Thriller" dance video is a shot-for-shot remake of the original: moves, camera angles, everything. The setting is moved from a haunted street to an Autobot disco with strobe lights, though. This joins a growing list of Thriller tribute videos:

A few things stand out with this new video, though:

• Why do the Autobots have a Christmas tree?
  
• Why is Hot Rod in the Michael Jackson role, and not Optimus Prime? That seems wrong to me.
  
• Why was Shockwave just casually strolling through the Autobots' hangar/discotheque? I thought he was a Decepticon.
