Tweetie 2 Approved by Apple, On Sale at iTunes Store

Tweetie 2 was approved by Apple today and it is now available for purchase on the iTunes store for $2.99.

This app has been eagerly anticipated by iPhone users ever since an official announcement was made by Apple on September 30th. It is the sequel to the highly successful Tweetie 1.0 app that was extremely popular amongs iPhone users who are also avid Tweeters.

The app is a standalone purchase, as opposed to an update/upgrade. It’ll be available in the App Store soon for only $2.99, just like the original iPhone Tweetie. There’s also an update to the Mac version on the way, however this will be a free update to current owners of Tweetie for OS X.
