Its official. Twitter and Google have mated. The new offspring - Twoogle - was launched today by Browsys to the joy of twitter addicts everywhere.
Twoogle is a search engine where you can search Google and Twitter side-by-side. What's more, with the click of a button at the right of the page, you can even tweet about your twoogles.
It looks like Browsys, the creator of Twoogle, beat Google to the punch. In recent months, rumours spread far and wide that Google would launch a campaign for microblog domination through a partnership with Twitter, a microblog search engine, or Google Wave, its own social networking tool.
Now, instead of google-ing it, will you twoogle it?

Damnit, I knew I should have trademarked that name back when we came up with the idea!
It'll be interesting to see where it goes from here...

I will definitely use Twoogle. Just did a couple of searches and I can see already - it's a great way to get the depth and history from Google and the currency and buzz from Twitter. Wish they were truly side-by-side but tabs work fine.
