Twitter Plastered all over Pepsi Cans (and Rest of the World)

PepsiCo, the multinational soft drink magnate, has put Twitter on its Pepsi Raw can in the United Kingdom. For many, this is potentially yet another milestone marking Twitter's entrance into mainstream life and culture. Previous examples include Oprah's first tweet, broadcast on live TV, and Twitter's two-day "140 Characters Conference".

[W]hen a huge international corporation like PepsiCo recognizes you in such a way that it prints its Twitter address on a Pepsi Raw can (only in the UK, but still), you can no longer be cool or rad; you’re now part of the mainstream.

So, in light of its newly, yet again, once more, for the umpteenth time, confirmed ubiquity and over-hyped staying power, what will Twitter deliver next?

Twitter in transit, with onboard mobile devices for those tweets that just can't wait?

A joint venture with the likes of Hello Kitty or the Peanuts gang, to target the younger market ("RT @LucyCutie: Merry Christmas, @blockhead!")?

More important, when and where will it stop?

Note to Twitter: It's all fun and games now, but you can only leap over so many frogs before one of them becomes a shark.
