Actually, two-thirds seems like a fairly low number, depending on what they consider "logging on", which itself is a dated term, since few of us still dial up. Instead, the Internet and all those lolcats are just there, waiting, until we flick the screen back on.
Is just checking email considered in the statistic above? Most would consider email as an extension of voicemail these days, if not more of a daily task then checking your calls.
A Post Office poll of 1,700 adults shows two thirds will log on, spending an average of 84 minutes online, a 25 per cent increase on last year.
