US Tallest Landmark: Willis Tower In Chicago
On the eve before the eighth anniversary of 9/11 attacks, many people are raising the question of what the tallest US landmark is now that the twin World Trade Center towers are gone. In reality, the twin towers have never been the tallest buildings in the United States. The new 1 World Trade Center (aka the Freedom Tower) that is being rebuilt at Ground Zero will stand at 541 m and will be the tallest building in the States upon expected completion in 2010.

Good post, but what cities they are in would help for the U.S. list, given that some of the towers names are duplicated in some cases. Nos. 1 and 2 are in Chicago, No. 3 is NYC, and No. 4 is San Fran., I think, but am not sure.
