Well, ain't that great. Days before Rogers announced it planned to screw over Canadians coast to coast with their 3 year anal-rape-fest contracts complete with crappy rates... my first gen iPhone 8GB "died".
After being in my posession since September of 2007, it suffered the old "Strip of Death" problem. Basically, the bottom half of the touchscreen is completely inoperative.
The only saving grace is that the iPhone backup restored my ability to use it as a music player from the Lock Screen. However, all the songs are in constant shuffle and I can never again choose the particular song, album or artist I want.
Please kill me.
Now using a Nokia 6301 I got free from Fido a while back. Next phone will either be:

## Sony Ericsson c905 (not yet released) <-- 8MP Cybershot on it.
