It has been described by Clean Edge, a US. research and publishing firm, that "Clean technologies are a diverse range of products, services, and processes that harness renewable materials and energy sources, dramatically reduce the use of natural resources, and cut or eliminate emissions and wastes." Clean technologies offer significant additional benefits, notably their ability to improve the lives of those in both developed and developing countries.

The California Clean Tech Open, the nation’s pre-eminent clean technology business competition, had over 500 clean technology industry insiders and observers at its second annual awards event that was held in San Francisco. This is powerful evidence of the fact that many businesses now pay attention not only to profits but also to the environmental impact their enterprises make.

Almost 100 companies within the clean technology and renewable energy sectors presented at the third annual Clean Technology and Renewables Conference hosted in February, 2008 in New York City. The conference provided insight on upcoming technological advancements and cost improvements from leading solar, biofuel, and other clean technology companies operating across the globe.

While there are many other events, contests, grants, and alternative financing programs available to support the development of clean technologies, there is no significant infrastructure to accelerate this business development worldwide. However, www.IdeaMamaClub.com is recognized as one of very few virtual venues that support the development of clean-tech projects and other initiatives that aim to make a positive environmental, social, and economic impact. IdeaMama became synonymous with the concept of collaborative social innovation and leadership based on high consciousness. This web 2.0 platform enables social entrepreneurs to easily collaborate and build companies quickly. On this networking site, for-profit ventures are built efficiently, and success can happen overnight for those who are driven by purpose.

IdeaMamaClub.com provides a Web-based platform that enables organizations to implement social initiatives and facilitate innovations in various industries: biotechnology, commerce, education, energy, entertainment, environment, finance, health, information technology, materials, space, transportation, and others.

The fundamental premise of IdeaMamaClub.com is to offer a unique medium where organizations, social activists, entrepreneurs, inventors, investors, service providers, and manufacturers can meet and work together in a virtual environment. IdeaMama Club offers Web-based solutions that assist in facilitating all aspects of development, supporting and encouraging the healthy evolution of new products and innovative business concepts.

This program was designed by a social entrepreneur, Olga Kostrova, the founder of IdeaMama, to encourage innovative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing social issues including health, climate change, violence, poverty, and many others. IdeaMama aims to support corporations and membership organizations to conduct a series of high-impact projects with key partners, designed both to unearth existing ideas, and stimulate new approaches in response to recognized problems.

Corporations with over 1000 employees and organizations with over 5000 members are invited to take advantage of a free trial launch of IdeaMamaClub.com, before August 1 2008. This launch is expected to attract thousands (or perhaps millions) of contributors from all over the world. These are people who seek to interact with other socially conscious entrepreneurs to start identifying, promoting, and rewarding innovative initiatives for their merits in the field of social development.

“IdeaMama is not just a technology," shares Ms. Kostrova. "Is it the next revolution in business? Probably. We are happy to pioneer a new approach to business, and to tear down the walls that separate and disconnect individuals, enterprises, and various social initiatives. We advocate a new philosophy and we nurture a culture of co-creating and giving back.

"We used the newest trends such as collaboration, virtualization, and Web 2.0 to develop a Web- and event-based platform that helps to build transparent, ethical, socially responsible enterprises through next-generation partnerships between corporations and social activists -- people who want to positively impact socio-economic and environmental challenges.

"We designed the collaborative incubation platform to support a shift in focus to corporate citizenship, based on transparency and accountability, with increased emphasis on linking business growth and profitability to environmentally sustainable outcomes. Now organizations can effectively engage with their members, employees, customers, shareholders, vendors, and fans, and invite them to innovate together. The time when corporations can dictate what to purchase is gone. Now customers define what they buy and how they want the products to be marketed to them. If you don’t listen to your customer the life of your business might just be shorter than expected. And now, the importance lies on real value not only for individual consumers but for the world. We encourage organizations to get involved with global social initiatives, stop relying on their in-house R&D programs, remove the walls to innovation and collaboration, and build a closer relationship with communities of independent inventors and social entrepreneurs that can help organizations innovate efficiently and for the good of humanity.”

Organizations now have the opportunity to evaluate the many unique features of IdeaMamaClub.com, to test its revolutionary approach to global collaboration, and explore its Web-based platform for collaborative social and commercial innovation. The comprehensive, virtual, and scalable attributes of this remarkable platform provide the foundation for organizations to communicate securely and efficiently and involve members, employees, customers, shareholders, vendors, and supporters to collaboratively innovate accordingly to organizational objectives and the latest initiatives.

If we are to create a sustainable future for our children, and all of mankind, we must change how we do business. The old competitive ways are too slow, too costly, and too destructive to provide the level of innovation we need to solve our technological and social problems. Companies such as IdeaMamaClub.com, are not only providing the tools that make it easier for people to collaborate in a virtual environment, but is also providing a new vision of what is possible for us all. We need a new vision, a new way of working together, and a new way to prosper in a world where we can no longer afford to waste our precious natural and economic resources. IdeaMamaClub.com is the first of its kind, and it certainly won't be the last.
