For years the undisputed king in the realm of high speed hard disk drives has been Western Digital and the company's Raptor line of hard drives. All good things must come to an end, and so the Raptor is going to have to step down as the reigning champion. Western Digital has announced the release of the first of the new generation of speed kings: the VelociRaptor.
