September 8, 2012- The "WFL" Wine Football League teams will be announced 2-days from now this coming Monday September 10, 2012  before the double-header Monday Night Football games on ESPN.

The 32 NFL teams that will be represented with a wine moniker nickname will help boost the wine sales for the bars and restaurants in each of the respective cities says, Derrick E. Vaughan the creator of the WFL.

"Beer sales increase during the football season around the country due to the massive amount of advertising and marketing by the beer companies. If the WFL becomes popular with wine lovers who watch football it will have an immediate effect on the entire wine industry mainly the restaurants and pubs," Vaughan continues.

MLB baseball stadiums have seen an increase in wine sales over the past 7-8 years. Football has become America's favorite sport and its fan base will become more mature and sophisticated as they age.

With more sophistication comes a growth in culture and taste. Wine is extremely popular with professional adults between the age of 40-60.

NFL team cities with high-end restaurants may play-off the wine moniker nicknames to create more sales with its clientele. Wine makers, distributors and wholesalers may also create programs to capture more interest in wine and increase sales.

There may be a domino effect that is seen nationwide and that is good for all involved just look at what football has done for beer sales.
