E3 is now; that time of year when companies from around the globe go to LA to show off what's in store for the future. This is the usual time for new system/handhelds to be shown. Nintendo followed this with unveiling their Wii U system.

Successor to the Wii, the previous system was often downplayed for being weaker than its competition, the Sony Playstation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360. Nintendo has compensated for this with a powerful follow up system. Although specs are under wraps, the company had a demo set up with a playable Zelda game to display the console's power.

The demo is impressive from a graphic and interface standpoint. It makes use of the screen in the controller to show of similar graphics on the smaller screen. The two interact, while a high quality HD look is present for the demonstration.

The following video shows off the demo.

The Wii U currently has not been given a release date or price point.
