Automobile sale has decreased so much that almost everybody in the world have heard about the financial problems and business difficulties of GM and other leading car producers. Some economists say that the same situation will be in all industries producing goods that can't be called "necessary". But what about trends in the fashion industry? Do they suffer?
Today I found an interesting article "Crisis has forced the couturier to refuse extravagance in favour of a practicality"

But it seems that fashion industry doesn't suffer a lot. Their clients (celebrities, politicians and so on) will always have enough money to pay for designer clothing as they believe that it's necessary. It's a part of their image!
