Sometimes you just need to do things on the run, and you just simply
don’t have access to Photoshop, so that’s where a GIF animating site
like Gickr can come in handy.

Josh Lowensohn over at WebWare had this very conundrum today, and
that’s what led to the discovery of the fun little site. Using your
Flickr account or images on your computer, you add in up to 10 photos,
set the animation speed, and you’re off and running to the races with
it.

We did a test that you can see to the right, and as you can see from
Kristen’s cut off face, you do need to adjust for size. You do also
have options for avatar sized images with no Gickr logo in the top
left. Sizes come in (all in pixels) 100, 120, 300, and 450 wide.

Now, race off and make a whole slew of these to add to MySpace before
International Delete Your MySpace Account Day on January 30th.
