             A few weeks ago, for a course project here at SFU surrey, I reported (somewhat jokingly) about the 'danger' of the broken escalator in the mall. I recently checked up on the escalator and found it was still non-functional. Keep this in mind if you plan on shopping with a handicapped friend or family member.

             ***A warning to all who are using this; or any broken escalator.. the odds of the first, and last few steps being a constant length with the other steps is very unlikely, and as such excercise extreme caution when stepping onto and off of a stationary escalator. Even during the small time I was on the scene, I witnessed many people stumbling as they took the first step which was of shorter height than the next.***
