Pillow gadget stops snoring
A German scientist has invented a computerized pillow that automatically shifts the position of a snorer's head when it receives a snoring sound. What happens if the snorer's partner snores? Will the pillow respond to that too, shifting the (in this case) non-snorer's head around at the sound of the partner's snore? What about if both people are snorers and each has their own snoring pillow. Will both pillows respond every time either one snores?
There is good reason to suspect technology that automatically responds to stimuli. For example, in an attempt to stop yapping dogs, someone invented a dog collar that automatically shoots out lemon juice everytime the dog barks. Trouble is, it can't discriminate between barks. So sometimes Dog A gets a squirt when Dog B barks. Sometimes there just ain't no justice.
