This isn't really news, but I thought it was interesting. It's a little Japanese camera you can put on your dog in case you think he or she is getting up to no good when you're not around.
It would be cool to train your dog to go on little espionage missions. There's also potential for new forms of canine fine art. Catfights gone wild?
Have you ever wondered where your dog goes and what he sees? Wonder what he gets up to in the house when you aren’t home? Have you ever been suspicious of some possible trouble he is getting into (maybe the neighbor’s garbage can) but you never caught him?
Well wonder no more with this nifty pet camera. See the world through your pet’s eye and enjoy the view! The camera is a very small and attaches to the dog’s collar. You can set the timer for specific intervals, or use the remote and snap at will. The camera has 8 MB of internal memory, enough for 90 photos. It comes with the collar clip, remote, USB cord and rechargeable battery. $79 at Japanese Trend Shop.

To capture the visual perspective of an unsupervised dog is interesting, but to understand what they were thinking as they observed the world around them would be quite enlightening...or perhaps a bit disturbing...

One of our dogs attends a dog-daycare and this camera would be something interesting to us.

Well, I do not know many things in English, but I will make a comment in the same way, dogs are great creatures, they don't speak, but we understand them, it would be very interesting if we could understand what they mean when we look, does they think good things or bad things to us?

While taking this photo the dog didn't seem to like a camera pointed at him, if you were to look at the next frame he is attack my camera. As a matter of fact I have a tooth mark on my lens hood!
