UPDATE: Endeavour has just launched. Three minutes into the flight, and the launch has been a great success thus far. Currently the shuttle is traveling 4200 mph and has reached an altitude of 57 miles.
The shuttle Endeavour is scheduled to launch today at 6:36 p.m. EDT. There is only a 20% chance that weather will prevent the launch from taking place. This will be the first flight for Endeavour since 2002.
STS-118's mission is to resupply the International Space Station, do some repairs, and delivering and assembling a new segment of the station.
The crew is now in White Room, where they prepare to board the shuttle.
