Sukhoi weapons to be tested in March 2008

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesian Air Force Materials and Maintenance
Chief Air Commodore Sunaryo said the all the arms of the four
Russian-made Sukhoi jetfighters will be tested in March 2008.

"Now the four Sukhoi aircraft have been equipped with complete weapons
which will be tested in March 2008," he told ANTARA News here on
Thursday.

He also said some weapons purchased by the Indonesian airforce from
Rusia in 2003 for the four Sukhois arrived in December 2007.

Most of the weapons which arrived in mid-December 2007 are for air-to-ground attacks, Sunaryo said.

The weapons and ammunition include 0FAB-100-120 120 EA bombs, S-8 Kom Combat 100 EA missiles and S-8 KOM Combat 160 EA.(*) END
