Sunda strait bridge construction follow experts` theories: Lampung governor

"We are pushing the realization of the project so that travel time between Sumatra and Java will be shortened," the governor said here Tuesday.

Thus, he said, the Lampung provincial administration (on the eastern tip of Sumatra) and the Banten provincial administration (on the western tip of Java) as well as the investor will sign a memorandum of agreement (MoA) on October 3, 2007.

The governor said in the early stage the cost of construction of the bridge would be borne by a consortium of Artha Graha Network as the investor.
