Australia's draconian classification regime for video games has taken yet another scalp, with local retailers banned from selling the upcoming shooter title Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back.

The highly anticipated game, which was to be released on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, was refused classification by the Office of Film and Literature Classification for being too violent.

and this is a problem because? I know that it shoud be the parents who monitor what their children do, but they don't. So I have no problem with it being banned. Just because a company CAN produce something does not mean they SHOULD.

FYI: The game was re-released without any blood or gore. You know, because that really portrays a realistic outcome of violence. Its people like you that really dont see the stupidity in their actions.

While were at it, lets also ban santa from saying hohoho too....oh wait. Already done.

What a difference you bible bashers are making.
