Smart GSXR

This is old news for us here in Canada, but Americans are about to see these smart little gas-camels on the road soon.

Meet the Smart car: An ultra-compact, Mercedes-designed, head-turning little vehicle that's been negotiating traffic and squeezing into impossibly tiny spaces in Europe for almost a decade.

Now, it's about to go on sale in the United States.

One reason the company waited so long to introduce it to Americans was that the U.S. wasn't ready for such a small car, said Jessica Gamarra, marketing specialist for Smart USA.

But choking traffic and rising gas prices have changed that, she said.

The video above depicts a slightly modified Smart-for-Two... with a Suzuki GSXR1000 engine! Raw power, like David Banner turning into the Hulk, only more dangerous.

Oh wow, I didn't know the US didn't have smart cars available until
now. I suspect there's going to be a good market for them. A lot of
people only need to drive within a certain area on a daily basis and no
doubt they'd appreciate the extra money they were spending on gas
before.Thanks Rob

PS, Nice crowdsourcing Jordan, that video should be their commercial.
