Heart Attack Grill Spokesman Blair River Has Died at the Age of 29

Blair River, a 575-pound man who served as a spokesman for Heart Attack Grill, died on Tuesday at the age of 29.

Blair River, who stood 6'8" and 575-pounds, appeared in ads for the Heart Attack Grill, a restaurant chain that prides itself on serving fat-laden food.

Blair River's role as spokesman for the Heart Attack Grill was something of a plus-sized counterpoint to Jared the Subway Guy.

How Did Blair River Die?

The Blair River cause of death has yet to be determined. Those close to River have suggested that he may have died from pneumonia.

"Cynical people might think this (River's death) is funny," Basso said. "But people who knew him are crying their eyes out. There is a lot of mourning going on around here. You couldn't have found a better person."

In addition to his work with the Heart Attack Grill, Blair River worked as a financial adviser at the University of Phoenix. As a student, Blair River won a high school state heavyweight wrestling championship and he played football at Mesa Community College.
