The legendary law enforcement agency, the Texas Rangers investigated and substantiated allegations of the sexual abuse of juvenile males by employees and administrators of the Texas Youth Commission TWO YEARS AGO.

The authorities who knew of this investigation reads like a who's who of Texas state government ranging from the local district attorney all the way up to the Governor of Texas, Rick Perry.

The facts surrounding this matter strongly suggest that a massive cover-up was engaged in.

Now that the facts are becoming known, efforts appear to be underway to minimize the damaged caused by this revelation. No criminal charges were ever filed in the matter and the case documentation provided by the Texas Rangers was moved around between agencies until it was thought that the matter had been put to rest.

Similar allegations have been made concerning the two largest state schools located in Edinburg and Giddings, Texas that are coupled with the substantiated allegations concerning the West Texas State School in Pyote, Texas, which was described in the Texas Ranger's report as a "sex camp".

It appears that state government is attempting to handle the entire affair with hearings and resignations of the employees involved; when state law clearly mandates that criminal charges are in order for both the actual sexual abuse as well as the failure to report the abuse.
