One of the many great reasons for living in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Toronto is the many different ethnic groups and their cultures. During the summer on the weekend there are so many events to go to is rather difficult to choose one. There are the Indian Festival, Salsa Festival and the Thai festival this weekend.

Under the sunny sky, the Thai Festival takes place on the Nathan Philip Square in front of the City Hall this afternoon by the time I arrived  there were at least a couple of thousand of young and old at the square which were filled with sound and colour and  the smell of Thailand.  Everywhere there were the offer of Thai food with their wonderful smell of coconut milk and lemon grass .Among them were tents with beautiful art and crafts for sale, there were also traditional Thai music and dance, kick-boxing and fruit-carving demonstrations.to entertain us. To end the event there was the traditional Thai parade with public invited to join.
