No one knows the suffering of SF Gate sex columnist Violet Blue. Sometimes it is more than anyone should be expected to endure. She writes of the tribulations of some friends - a hetero couple who met at an Elvis impersonators' conference....sadly, circumstances forced them to move from SF to LA, and life, since then, had been downhill. What could she tell them that might bring some comfort?

...They came up to visit recently and asked me if there were any fun sex parties to go to. Here? Maybe. Maybe like ten on a weekend. But the trick, the hot Elvises (Elvii?) told me, was finding a party that would appeal to their sexual sensibilities, would include people their age, and wouldn't be truly open to the public. It sounded to me like they wanted "Viva Las Vegas," the Folsom Street Fair and "Eyes Wide Shut," all in a single weekend.
