It is true any African (black is a colour white folk gave to us) folk who wish to learn about their history need to be careful of the bias history stories that they write about us African people. The White man has never even apologised for slavery, hanging of African folk in United Snakes or the Rodney King saga. I must be living on another planet. If your mother is white and your dad is black how does that make you black. When Obarma ticks what race he comes from he will tick black and white parantage that does not make him black it makes him mixed parentage.

Also no one brings up Lincoln. I live in England not by choice but because my ancesters were stolen from Afrika and I have never heard of any past president that did a good job. Obama is going to be just the same.

Granted alot of sad and ignorant things have happened in the past but if you are going to continue to live in the past, how can we mlook forward to a prosperous future. I am Native american, Black and White...When the government asks me what is my nationality I always say other....There is no box to tick for my race. I consider myself human. Now I could go on about how they say there is no box for that race, but it will take years to explain, so I tell them to put in what ever they want and because they think they know people by their voices they normally put white until they see me in person and then it's either black or native american. I really want to inform you that the picture diplicted of John Hanson is really not the John Hanson that you tink it is rather a picture of a slave not even during the John Hanson era.
I would love to believe that Obama was not the first black president, and that there was one before him but the truth is that there is only one and Obama is it.
for many years people asked me what race was I and I would tell the Kush, and they never understood . I am happy to be alive and that's what counts. I voted in the election for Obama because he was the better man and not because of his skin color. I also voted for him because his points of interest was better that his opponent. No much better but a little better. I figured weighing the pros and cons, the one with just a little more than the other one is the one who should be president, it was better than not voting at all. I started not to vote at all because there was nothing said to me that either one should have been president. I would have voted for condie Rice. I thought she would have been a wonderful President and a better President. Hill. Clinton would have never made it and that Palin chick was a joke. What I'm saying is that we are all arguing over who's who and we really don't know. The books about blacks are by blacks and the books about whites are about whites in their own words. What is the truth. I'll tell you...WE DON"T KNOW unless we were there. Bottom line...Same with the bible. Lies and truth, who knows. And we still argue about it. Save your breath, be happy to be alive and make your mark on this world and put it in writing. Make the future count for something, something your grand and greatgrands and many after can know for sure what happened.

This is wonderful, trully great that we can put our voices and opinoins out for one another to comment on. This day is like any other day with the exception in my opinoin, we are moving closer to the truth of wich to me is the return of our lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Hisory is somewhat of a mystery in that it is very much like us with our opinoins and fact, or asswholes, we all have 'm.(lol). Reconstruction is a fact and there was several men of color holding office, one of wich was the presidency before the states were totaly united.( check the facts). Funny, most of the the then blacks holding office in and about those times were republicans who supported blacks while democrates were raising hell against blacks, colored, africANS, ETC. I saw something on TBN(Trinity Brodcast Network), the "wallbuilder.com" speaking on our nation and its history and people. I reccomend it, very inlightening. Peace and lets keep talking and debATING and respecting eachothers RED BLOOD.
