An unfortunate juxtaposition on page B3 of this morning's Times: Above the fold, apartment owners with a view of Central Park fret over whether they should use saffron in the dishes they serve at their fabulous viewing parties. (Answer: "Of course.") Below the fold, the City discusses its plan to build a new command center at the Boathouse and add "several hundred police officers" to its Park staff in an effort to protect the billowy gates from the unwashed masses. Lest you think there's no in between, Annaliese Soros, who's slumming it on the 9th floor of her CPW apartment building, says that she feels sorry for friends on the 36th floor: "From up there, you get, obviously, an idea.
