Get your World Series fix here...

The Tigers have tied the series at one game a piece with the Cardinals who fell to some impressive Detroit pitching. The talk has been about Kenny Rogers and his superior play last night. Well, his play and his dirty hand, which is still being debated on the web, but was ruled as just dirt during the game...

If Kenny Rogers was the man of the hour, Carlos Guillen was a close second. Guillen reached base four times and was a home run short of hitting for the cycle. He was involved in two of the three Tigers runs and outside of the home run by Monroe, he had two of the three Tigers extra-base hits.

The DugOut is stranded in a land of non-baseball, and depends on the kindness of strangers to help share the sports arena with every fan.  So please share what you can from the wide world of sports.  As all photos, or videos, are more than welcome.

Was anyone in Detroit for the game last night?  What was the atmosphere like after the big win?

Not much here on the game itself, but on the atmosphere in Detroit

We went down to Comerica Park in Detroit on Saturday and 'hung out' outside the stadium--the crowds were PUMPED! We were at the Elwood Grill located between Comerica and Ford Field.. and the place was wall-to-wall people ..to use a cliche it was like being in a sardine can! SOO many folks in the city and rooting for our Home Team!  Tiger-faced people were everywhere! We caught glimpses of the game here and there through the gates, saw the Selfridge Air Force representatives do a 'fly over' , and was just a part of the excitment of the first W.S. game to be held in Detroit in 20 yrs! Wish we could have gotten tickets- but it was still very exciting to be there anyway! Even though we lost the first game, the spirits are still running high! There is a huge Rodan statue of a man sitting cross-legged in front of our City Council Building-- he is now wearing a HUGE Tigers shirt-- it took over 30 yards of material to make. Noone can bring this city together like our baseball team!!

The best part of the crowd outside of the stadium was the wedding party who took their photos at the game.  I've uploaded a couple pictures of the party that the party threw under the giant stone tiger in front of Comerica Park.

Wow!  Imagine waking up to such a great assortment of images and comments.

It looked like a blast in Detriot...

Thank you for making the DugOut's day.  Easily one of the best in my profile...

I will make sure to put up more great stuff when the Tigers return home.  I hope you will join me if you can!

Cheers
