No prob for now, henrid33 - but pls in the future acknowledge sources. Also you might want to see this comment I just posted elsewhere:
Hey HTAdvisor - many thanks for the clarifications and your great attitude.
Here's what I suggest to people like yourself who both have good content and
a business case attached:
Be really transparent. Instead of calling
yourself HTAdvisor, use your real name, post your real photo. That really honors
the community.
Then in your postings, try to find something really new to hang (or "hook",
as they call it in the news biz) your story on. A new product launch, a piece of
new technology, etc.
Try to remember what's it's like for you as a news consumer when you
encounter a story where you suspect there's a hidden agenda.
Once the agenda is revealed, everybody relaxes.
Anyway, I really appreciated the way you responded. Welcome to NowPublic!

Thanks appreciate the benefit of the doubt. I think what is most newsworthy from a industry standpoint is the fact that in a B&B free upgrades cost very little to business but add great value to the guest experience. I will see what I can come up with that makes sense and is of value to any reader using that above as an example. Perhaps a simple article on how when they arrive at check-in they should feel free to ask, and that 99% of the time if an upgrade to a better room is available they will get it. The downside is that if you reserve the cheap room and hope for that then it is like being on standby, for some ok, for others not worth the risk.
