Croydon Technology College, Ashburton Road,
Shirley, Croydon. Surrey, SE London.

A member of a Croydon Pentecostal church worshiping in a 1st floor hall, came unstuck when he tried to gatecrash a Computer fair being held at the same venue.

The man tried to slip in via the staircase fire exit and was apprehended by the Centre security.

Instead of paying his entrance fee, he decided to hit the security guard in the face, then left, returning minuets later with a plank of wood to which he used to attack the guard again.

Croydon Police were called and arrived on the scene within 5 minuets.  They questioned the man who appeared to have mental health problems, and escorted him and his two young children off the premises.  The matter is being looked into further.  That is the first time in 12 years that the Metropolitan Police have had to be called to the Croydon Computer Fair.  The Police gave a 5* excellent response service.

Thank you.
