Alta. man, 12-year-old charged in triple murder Which reminded me of the mass murderer Charles Starkweather and his girl friend who did the same thing in the US fifty years ago. Their story was iconic and apocryphal so much so it was made into a bio-pic movie in the seventies with Martin Sheen and later told as Natural Born Killers.

Charles Starkweather, despite his tragic role became Lincoln, Nebraska's version of "Freddy Krueger" and killed 11 people for his teen queen. In some circles he is known as "Red Chief" and his demise was supposed to end the horror crimes in America. And supposed to be the last person executed in Nebraska. However there has been events that makes his crime spree very small. After June 25, 1959 there has been horrible acts spanning from 1959 to 2009. Including "Birmingham Sunday" and The Munich Olympics were 11 Isareli Atheletes were killed by The PLO doing a "Starkweather Dozen" (11 Victims). Then we have 9/11 & on the 50th Anniversary of the execution of Charles Starkweater we lose Farrah Fawcett & The King of Pop, Michael Jackson. The people of Lincoln, NE are glad his spirit hasn't come back to claim the teenagers and children in a plague or have the city done in like Hiroshima, Japan on 8/6/1945. On the 50th Anniverary of his demise, we lose Michael Jackson. It looks like Starkweather has the last laugh & his spirit owns, Lincoln, NE.
