The RIDER Project is going to Chicago!

The RIDER Project will travel to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and exhibit Emerald City,

November 18th-20th, 2006 at SAIC’s Negotiated Localities Symposium: Artists, Designers and Citizens in a Green City.

Having taken art to the streets of New York for the last 3 years, “Emerald City” will be the RIDER Project’s first Chicago area presentation. “Emerald City” will use The Wizard of Oz’s bejeweled utopia as a conceptual springboard for an exploration of the word “Green”. Artists will reduce, analyze, reuse and redefine the ubiquitous environmental buzzword by way of fine art.
