When I was entering my teens, I got an under-the-table job at a pizza place. This kid is going bigger. Much, much bigger. Forest Endicott is aiming to finance his college education by refitting vintage Land Cruisers with biodeisel engines.
Last year, Forest hatched a plan to import old diesel Toyota Land Cruisers from Australia, convert them to biodiesel and resell them in the United States. "I really care about reducing emissions," Forest says, opening his blue eyes wide. "I didn't want to just do something to make money. I wanted to do something that could do some good."But little in his previous job experience -- walking dogs, raking leaves, pulling nails out of old lumber -- prepared him to draw up the business plan for Clean Cruisers, his fledgling company.
