The Safer Neath Port Talbot partnership praised by home office

The Safer Neath Port Talbot partnership has been praised by the home office for their excellent performance over the last few months.

In a letter sent to the joint chairs of the partnership, the Chief Executive of Neath Port Talbot Council, Ken Sawyers and the Superintendent Cliff Filer of South Wales Police, the director of the Police and Crime Standards praised the work of the partnership for their help in reducing crime in Neath Port Talbot.

The partnership has been assessed as performing better than authorities in similar areas across the UK.
