What is it that captures your soul when you hear your favorite song? The melody? The lyrics? Music is everywhere and it affects us all on a daily basis. R&B music has been around for a while and many of those artists have left us with that song that lasts forever, that's no different with the soulful sounds of TYLER WATSON. Born out of the Midwest, Tyler grew up around all different genres of music and you will hear it in his voice. His father was a drummer in a band and laid down a foundation of learning music. His mother showcased many different styles of music, which had a profound effect on Tyler.

At age 8, Tyler was recording himself and experimenting with different instruments. His early on teachings allowed him to understand the effects of harmonization in song production.

" The key to a good song is the tone, you'll notice that when a person is overdoing it, you'll hear it" Tyler said.

During highschool, Tyler was in the highest branch of choir available. His many solos lead him to be well-known for his performance. Even today, you'll see his calm, but intriguing swagger on stage.

At the end of 2002, Tyler was on travel mode as he made his way over to Chicago, IL for an expo held for Model, Actors and musicians. Thousands of people were in attendance and many of the labels were there. His meeting with Donovan Knowles, whom was a part of the Destiny's child camp as well as to produce and/or work with artists like Janet Jackson, Jagged Edge, Ginuwine, Da Brat, Jon B., NSYNC, Britney Spears, Wu Tang Clan, Matchbox 20, Avril Levigne and many others. They began work on the single "Alone At Last", which ended up becoming a TOP 10 SINGLE(overall number 3 most requested) on Mid-Michigan Radio. The buzz was all over about his project. Tyler started traveling all over the country where he would perform and meet with different A&R's and CEO's of labels. Tyler has done many different shows for different venues. He's also opened up for artist NINA SKY when they dropped into his Highschool he graduated from.

Today, you'll see a more developed artist as Tyler has tried to expand his way into producing. A change in the sound that we hear today when many of the R&B artists sound the same. Stay tuned for the album release and next single coming to a town near you!
