The Texas FlatLINErs, starring Eric Taylor, Steven Fromholz and Vince Bell, stole the show Monday night, June 4 at the Kerrville Folk Festival, Kerrville, Texas. All three musicians, at some time over the past few years, were declared dead, resusitated and diagnosed with acute brain injuries. All three recovered and resumed their musical careers. Vince Bell has written a book about his experience, "One Man's Music"; Steven Fromholz has been appointed the new Texas Poet Laureate by the Texas Legislature; and Eric Taylor continues to tour the United States and Europe. You can find Vince Bell at vincebell.com, Steven Fromholz at stevenfromholz.com and Eric Taylor at bluerubymusic.com. Here is a link to the San Antonio Express News for an article on the trio http://www.mysanantonio.com/entertainment/music/stories

What a tribute to Taylor, Fromholz and Bell - all master entertainers.  Thanks, Anita.

Thank you all so much. These multi-talented guys have been through more than any of us ever deserve. If, by chance, we are faced with similar challenges, let's hope we remember their inspiration. If you ever get the opportunity to see the FlatLINErs on stage, don't hesitate. They are pros and definitely worth it!
