The single biggest voting demographic in Vancouver is its
Chinese-Canadian community. This segment-typically 25 to 30 percent of
the city's vote-is often seen as conservative and even self-interested.
But the council candidates courting it say the community's vote is
diverse, mature and most definitely not monolithic.
