Exposed undercover CIA agent Valerie Plame testified before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform today. It was the first time she had spoken in public since she was outed by politically-motivated allies of the Bush white house four years ago.

"My name and identity were carelessly and recklessly abused by senior government officials in the White House and State Department," she said. "They should have been diligent in protecting me, and every CIA officer."

"It's not about Scooter Libby and it's not about Valerie Plame Wilson," said Committee Chairman Henry Waxman (D-CA). "It's about the integrity of our national security."

To this day, nobody has been charged with blowing Plame's cover. The Bush administration's justice department has never conducted an investigation into the betrayal of national security.
