Well that's it. England lost on penalties. A sense of deja vu comes over me, but I held my head up high in a beer garden full of Germans, Italians and Portugese strangely cheering on the other side. 

Personally I think we played a storm with 10 men against 12. A penalty not given, a blind eye turned to an obvious hand ball, and a man sent off after he was grabbed, tripped and someone's nuts got in the way and a penalty goal scored but disallowed to be retaken and missed. 

Besides which, in my opinion, penalties are like stopping playing football and starting to have an arm wrestling match.

Of course it is only my opinion.
