Here's a good rebuttal for anyone still running into the C02 - They Call It Pollution, We Call It Life crowd.

A favorite argument of global warming deniers is that the carbon dioxide causing global warming is harmless because its "just plant food". It turns out that like any other "food", too much will only cause harm.

The life cycle is all connected.

I think more relevant than CO2 is the cause of CO2. More relevant than that is how much man made CO2 contributes. Put all this together and I think that this is a relevant argument that it is just plant food or more aptly stated something as natural as the plants of the earth. I would also like to state the importance of voices of dissent on both sides. In that we avoid biased journalism.

you think? and do you have any relevant support for what you think? or do you generally just talk off the top of your head. You may be interested in my own personal policy regarding 'balance'. obviously you haven't read the linked studies on the affects of this so called plant food. Nor to you know the importance of the volume of CO2 we contribute, which you can start to find about here.

Dissent is fine, so long as its informed. I'm not seeing any informed opinions by you justin.

Well I take it from a few of the leading voices in the field. A few who left the IPCC. As many know are the leading scientists in the world on many fields of expertise. Take a look at this film

I read your link refering to climate skeptics. I'm sorry but I cannot base my decision to believe Global Warming on "coby beck" as apposed to the leading scientists in the field.

Ah the Great Global Warming Swindle. This film has been written about, debunked and demonstrated to pantently misrepresent both the facts and the words of experts so thoroughly since it came out that it defies belief why people keep bringing it up. Most telling was job the films director Martin Durkin utterly embarrasing himself on ABC australia when their anchor pointed out the errors in his film to his face. its painful to watch.

Also, like any info, you need to look at the sources. The so called leading scientists in this film, almost to the man, are paid industry mouth peices with little expertise in global warming science, though some of them can call themselves scientists in other fields. You can read all about that

Frankly, the biggest problem is the that the reputable people writing about global warming read beyond what they want to beleive. I've seen the swindles, its no revelation to those of us writing about the environment, and its also been intelligently discusses and shown to be a quack job. we also read and critique other so called evidence put out by skeptics. whereas skeptics and those who follow them here the first thing that they agree with and stop asking questions. It takes a 5 second google search to find out who these so called experts are. Weren't you at least curious enough to check on your own?
