(Greenwich Village) The first thing i saw when i looked out my window this morning was a ladder sliding off the top of an Olympia Gate Company van and into the back seat of this car. Luckily nobody was hurt; had anyone been in the passenger or back seat there would have been serious injury if not death. Many drivers roll through this stop sign at West 4th street and Horatio Street and, ironically, if this driver had done like the Romans (not that i am suggesting that) then he'd be at work right now with an intact car. Here's a rare situation when crime would have paid. The driver of the van was probably thinking the car would have just ran the stop like most others, or he could have been fishing for a Yani cd off the floor. Whatever the case, i am glad everyone is ok.
