I remember one of my Madison Avenue friends once saying that you never
own your brand. Your brand exists in the minds of your customers. It
now also exists on their YouTube accounts and the big drug companies don't like it.
Forget Congress and the Food and Drug Administration. More worrisome to the pharmaceutical industry these days is YouTube.

mtippett,
Loved the line near the end of the interview: "statistics are
like prisoners...you torture them long enough & they'll tell you
what you want to hear..."Actually, now that I have been to the
Ad Age story, I discover the line is actually, "He also detailed how he
could manipulate drug-study statistics without lying. "An old stats professor once told me that statistics are like prisoners: Torture them long enough, and they'll tell you whatever you want to hear," he said.
