To Plea or Not to Plea - That is the Question

As was discussed in the previous blog entry
relating to the Plea's and why the coverup, Paul Thomson(the
commonwealth attorney) cut deals with 4 of the 5 suspects. It appears
that the sooner they came to the table and signed the papers, the
lessor the sentence would be the reward. Jeff on the other hand
excepted no plea deal and went to trial. He made it thru the first day
but succumed to the pressure of his attorney and the Commonwealth w/
baggerings to plea for his life.

From the other blog, It is
understood that the Commonwealth had to get Jeff to plea due to the
seriousness of the case and the huge holes that could not possibly be
mended in the Commonwealth's story about Jeff. Jeff gave in and took
the 70yrs. The following links show the other suspects Plea deals.

Remember
this though, the crime happened on Aug 16th, 1994. Jeff was picked up
on Aug 19th 1994. The others were rounded up on the 30th of Aug after
they already confessed and accused Jeff. No charges were filed in the
courthouse until Oct 06th, 1994, 12 days before all of their
Premilinary Hearings. All of the suspects took deals on the day of
their preliminary hearing except for Jeff.

Instead of
gathering all of the evidence during the preliminary hearing and
returning to set up defense against the Commonwealth.... they plead
guilty at their Preliminary Hearing. I expect that the deals were
already cut before Oct 06th, 1994 when the papework was filed in
Winchester's Judicial Center. The following documentsare compelling
evidence that they all cut deals to as to lead the Commonwealth down a
path of critical uncertainty.

In
the following letter, Frank Washington asks the court to verify when
these men plead guilty to these charges.... The were charged on the
6th and plead guilty on the 18th... all except Jeff.
