Too Much Muscle Cream Causes Teen's Death

A New York medical examiner says a 17-year-old track star died because she used too much muscle cream.

The medical examiner says her body absorbed high levels of an anti-inflammatory found in creams, such as Bengay and Icy Hot. Poisoning of this type is rare and the examiner says the Staten Island teen either "lathered herself with it" or used a normal amount and "an abnormal percentage was absorbed."

The teen's mother says she can't believe the cause of her daughter's death was a muscle rub and says she has always been scrupulous about her children's health.
