Toronto man "Lucky" wins $18 million

Luckyrajah Paramantha, known to his friends simply as "Lucky" claimed his $18 million Lotto 649 jackpot on Tuesday. The Scarborough man worked as a maintenance worker and earned less than $48,000 a year. He said his win will allow him to bring his wife and two sons --who live in Sri Lanka-- to Canada to start a new life.

Paramanatha, 43, who lives in Scarborough, moved to Canada seven years ago and is a maintenance worker at a Toronto apartment building and cleans city swimming pools.
