March 21, 2007 North Carolina - Carrboro firefighters have battled five house fires in less than a week. The fires are not thought to be related, according to a Carrboro Fire-Rescue Department news release. Two were determined to be the result of electrical shorts, one was caused by cooking, and a fourth was the result of a faulty wood stove.
