Australia is a breathtaking country and has so many wonderful and diverse places to visit and one must-see location for your itinerary is Byron Bay.

This relaxed coastal village is a backpackers dream with many things to see and do, including whale watching and eating divine food from unique cafés and pubs. With hundreds of places to stay you’ll never have to worry about finding the right accommodation. Take your pick from hotels, motels, houses, apartments, cottages, B&B’s and a whole lot more.

Beautiful beaches are the key to any summer destination and Byron Bay certainly has the most magnificent beaches in the world. Stroll around the lovely town and purchase one-off pieces from local designers, have a big breakfast at any of the Cafés and walk the pounds off later by taking a wonder along the Cape Byron Walking Track. A yoga session on the beach is very therapeutic as well as a good way to tone up and get back to nature.

While in your travels don’t forget to check out the Byron Bay Lighthouse which is situated on the most easterly point of the Australian mainland. With its dramatic cliff faces this is a spectacular sight not to be missed.

After a big day of sight seeing head to Cheeky Monkey’s to party the night away. Join the crew for cheap drinks, themed parties, wet t-shirt competitions and anything else you can think up.

Discovered by surfers in the 1960’s Byron Bay has become home to many celebrities and creative individuals who want to escape the daily grind of city life. The renowned laid-back atmosphere is what really sets Byron Bay apart from other destinations.

Byron Bay is also home to the world famous Blues and Roots Music Festival. Every Easter thousands of people, including international stars, camp out for Australia’s biggest music festival.

Your time to travel is now so pack your bags and set out for Australia’s Byron Bay.
